ABOUT OUR FAMILY BUSINESS
The Pool People of Ohio was started by the Dodds Family in 1980. The family originally started Dodds Modern Living in 1952 by Thomas Dodds, father of Dan, Pat and Jay Dodds. Jay and Dan then entered the swimming pool business in 1980.
Since the company started over 40 years ago, we have installed over 800 inground swimming pools. We’re proud to say we have an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, which is a true testament to our ongoing dedication to exceeding our customers’ expectations.
The third generation of our family, Hannah and Jarrod Dodds (children of Dan) are now leading the company into the future.
